Untitled (incomplete drawing) (2011-)
400 unique drawings, made with flame on tintoretto 250 gr paper, numbered and signed by the artist, are distributed for free.
Each drawing contains the following caption: "This drawing is thus far incomplete and as such it cannot be considered or referred to as a work of art. Anyone who hereafter takes possession of the drawing undertakes that they shall complete the work by burning the entire sheet of paper. Any other use of, or reference to, this drawing as a work of art is invalid".
This project has been realised in the context of the exhibition "When in Rome" curated by Luca Lo Pinto and Valerio Mannucci, Italian Institute of Culture, Hammer Museum, and Laxart, Los Angeles, April 20 – May 21, 2011.
